Trading has certainly evolved a great deal in the past 10 years. Anyone can trade virtually anything from anywhere at any time. With this have come lots of challenges AND opportunities. Something else that has been a result of the proliferation of trading to the masses has been education, or lack of it in many cases.

However, over the past several years more and more resources have come online to offer both novice trades and experienced trades other methods of learning.

While trading is primarily a visual “sport”, sometimes I feel it is valuable to remove the visual stimulus of charts, quote pages, news screens, TV’s, etc. and just listen to something that teaches. Podcasts have done just this - provided a manner to hear and learn what others are willing to share from their experiences and knowledge.

Below is a list of 3 podcasts that I have come across that offer different levels of learning. I included the iTunes link, but you might find it more useful to just visit the iTunes Store | Podcasts | and do a search for these titles and then subscribe to them. These are all free.

The Mind of a Trader - http://www.itunes.com/podcast?id=26225756 - Focuses more on psychology than strategy.

Trader Interviews - http://www.itunes.com/podcast?id=151368528 - At the very least I would recommend the interview with Ray Barros. He has been a long time user of MarketDelta and a big proponent of it in Singapore and beyond. His website is http://www.tradingsuccess.com/index.html.

Jeff Quinto’s Electronic Trader - http://www.itunes.com/podcast?id=261145655 - This podcast offers “short and to the point” podcasts lasting about 4 minutes each covering a range of topics in a condensed manner.
